The Garden Problem
The weather was not cooperating with our green thumbs for planting our flower bulbs. Just when we thought we had an opportunity... had parent volunteers lined up to help... it would rain!
Students used their iPads and researched the 9 day weather forecast using the Weather Channel. They analyzed their data and made predictions as to when the soil would be dry enough to plant the bulbs.
Students not only learned about using the iPad, they also learned many concepts about the weather.
After their predictions was written, they had fun going to the maps and finding the school and our garden as seen in the picture above.
